Jesus said in Matthew 7:13-14, “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it”. In this verse, Jesus is speaking about the way of salvation, the narrow road to eternal life, and how a person enters the Kingdom of God. People choose the road they travel on, the direction they take for eternity. It comes down to receiving or rejecting Jesus as Lord and Savior. It comes down to believing the Gospel and following Jesus or following the world.

Jesus said in John 14:6, “… I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

Acts 4:12 states, “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” There are not multiples ways of salvation, there is only one way to be saved. The reason for this is because there is only one Savior who died for the sins of humanity. There is only one great sacrifice that has been made for the redemption of the world.

John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

2 Corinthians 5:21, “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”

Hebrews 10:12, 14 “But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.”

Jesus made a way. Jesus is the way. Jesus is the only way to salvation and eternal life. He paid the price with His own blood and life as a sacrifice upon a cross 2,000 years ago so that we might believe in Him and be saved.

The narrow way gives us salvation and eternal life. Many choose the wide pathway in life and it leads to destruction. Let us choose life. Let us choose to receive the salvation that God offers us by receiving into our hearts Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

Romans 10:9-10, “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
