Our Outreach Ministries

CHILDREN SERVICES

Nursery is available for children ages 6 months to 24 months of age during the sermon part of Sunday mornings services with a staff of trained, loving volunteers. A private room is available for nursing mothers or anyone with a young child.
HOTLF is family-centered and children are welcome to participate during our services and activities.

Children’s Church is offered for ages 8 to 12 years old on the third (3rd) Sundays of the month (except June-August). Please check the church calendar or bulletin for the dates and more info.  Sunday school classes are currently not yet available for ages 3 to 8 years old, but we are in the planning stages for them.

YOUTH GROUP – Apprehended Youth Ministries

Youth group meetings on Fridays at 7:00 PM at the HOTLF.Apprehended Youth Ministries is for teens in seventh through twelfth grade. AYM meets Fridays 7:00pm at the church. Weekly gatherings provide a great opportunity for young people to be in a positive peer environment, learn more about Jesus, encounter the presence of God, discover their destiny and calling in God, have fun, and serve with missions and community service projects.

COLLEGE STUDENTS – Full Gospel Fellowship (FGF)

FGF is a Christian Bible-based club for college students at Lock Haven University of PA. FGF is at the Haven to encourage college students to discover and experience a deeper relationship with God, fulfill their destiny and calling in God, and be empowered to positively impact LHU community and the world. FGF meets Thursday’s 7pm – LHU’s Raub Hall room 408, during fall and spring semesters of September to May.

HOME-CELL GROUPS (HCs)

HOTLF offers a variety of Home-Cell Groups for people of all ages including for men and women, families, couples, young people, college students and teens. Home-Cells typically meet on Wednesdays 7pm (2nd and 4th Wednesday’s of the month) at various members homes and locations throughout Lock Haven and Clinton County. We encourage you to join a HC Group so you can grow more in God and make meaningful connections with others.

LADIES MINISTRY

HOTLF Ladies Ministry gathers once a month on Sunday evenings. We meet because we believe in the power of gathering as a community of women for strength and encouragement.

  • Members Class – members and new members
  • Born to Grow Course – new believers and foundational
  • Kingdom Principles Class
  • Kingdom Growth Class – for spiritual growth and foundational
  • Marriage Seminar (& Marriage Teachings) – for strengthening of marriage
  • Children Classes for parents and child caretakers – Growing Kids God’s Way curriculum and

classes for Infants, Toddlers, Middle Years, and Adolescents.

PRAYER SESSIONS – MEETINGS

Monday Night Prayer – 5-8pm with one hour time slots. Prayer sessions are open for everyone, including people with young children, to gather for one selected hour of prayer. We focus on praying for our HOTLF community, our local community, missions, our nation and government, and the needs of others.

Men’s Intercessory Prayer – Wednesday 5:00-7:30am

Ladies Prayer – Fridays 6:00-7:00am

Pre-Service Prayer at 6:00pm before Saturday’s 6:30pm Service

Pre-Service Prayer at 9:30am before Sunday’s 10am Service

WITNESSING SESSIONS

Friday nights at 7:00 PM at the church during May through October. Group contacts – Pastor John Snyder and Jeff Brinker.

EVENTS

HOTLF community has a variety of annual events and long standing fun traditions throughout the year. Including weekly summer picnics, Sweetheart’s Dinner (February), Annual Harvest Party (End of October), Annual Christmas Party (December).

COUNSELING

Counseling and prayer are available upon request from the HOTLF Pastors and Elders.
