Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

John 1:12-13 says, “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”

Salvation is a gift. Salvation is a free gift from God. This gift is available to us by the working of His Spirit sovereignly and divinely. Someone is saved through the supernatural operation of God. Salvation in the life of an individual is a miracle of Heaven that transcends all religion or man-made attempts to become holy or angelic, by natural means, or even by the accumulation of works. To receive the salvation of God means to believe in Him, to be saved, and to be born again by the grace of God through a faith that He provides by which we exercise with the help and work of His Spirit. Salvation is not something we can brag about, because we had nothing to do with its provision, production, or execution. Getting saved requires a willingness to receive, a decision to believe, a choice to repent, and a response to the calling of His voice. There is a divine drawing and invitation from God into our hearts that we trust, receive, and believe with our hearts as we call upon His name and turn from our sins to Him.

John 6:44 – No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.

Matthew 18:3 – Jesus says, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.”

Mark 10:26-27 – And they were greatly astonished, saying among themselves, “Who then can be saved?” But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”

John 10:9 – I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.

John 14:6 – Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Acts 4:12 – Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

Revelation 13:20 – Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

Today – trust, receive, and believe in Jesus Christ as your Savior. Receive the gift of salvation and follow Him!
